The layer under the trigger

Satellite indices can construct a trigger, and check one.

A parametric cover can settle on a satellite-derived index, and an existing index can be validated against what the satellite saw on the ground. Both run through the same calibration and verification discipline.

Our roots

We started with farmers.

Ilika began with Hawamaan, a free weather app for farmers in drought-prone regions of India, built on NASA satellite data. NASA featured the story in its Spinoff publication. The field work since then, from orchards to row crops, is the same idea with better tools: put a usable number in front of the person making the decision.
